General Gymnastics

Our program is divided into multi-week semesters: sixteen weeks in the fall, twelve weeks in the winter and spring, and eight weeks in the summer. This provides the opportunity for students to develop their skills, strength, and confidence through fun and safe progressions.

General gymnastics classes are for boys and girls ages 6 and older. This is a beginner and advanced beginner level class. Classes last for one hour. Students receive instruction on the Olympic events as well as tumble track and our strength and conditioning station.

Students are grouped within the class according to age and ability levels and encouraged to achieve at their own pace of learning. In addition to class, all students are encouraged to arrive at the school 10 minutes prior to class for a conditioning and warm-up program. This extra time allows students to develop the strength and flexibility needed to perform skills taught in class.

In the fall semester, students work on new skills while building upon foundational elements.

During the winter session, our “Reach for the Stars: Gemnastics” goal-oriented program has been successful as a progressive curriculum for our students and has proven motivating for our students’ development in learning and achieving fundamental skills.

Throughout the spring semester, students prepare for our annual Gym Fest, a fun and exciting show to display the skills they've learned throughout the year.

Intermediate/Advanced Gymnastics

These classes are designed for students who have mastered the basic gymnastics skills and are ready for more of a challenge.

This class is 1 1/2 hours in duration, and the focus is on higher level skill development. Students continue to progress using the “Reach for the Stars” curriculum to serve as a guide.

Home School Fitness

Our Home School Fitness program provides a weekly Physical Education class, with emphasis on gymnastic skills and overall fitness.

This class is for boys and girls ages 5 and up. This is a beginner and advanced beginner level class which is one hour in duration.   Class time includes instruction on all Olympic events as well as tumble track. In addition, students will participate in a fitness program to develop overall strength and agility.

Our “Reach for the Stars” goal-oriented program has been successful as a progressive curriculum for our students and has proven motivating for our students’ development in learning and achieving fundamental skills.

Within this program, we strive to offer an environment that promotes goal setting, social interaction and physical & emotional growth. As a result of working towards these goals, students will experience individual success, team building, and an emerging sense of confidence and pride in one's achievements.
